- Boon of Thorax: 12 Thoracic, Sternum القص الصدري, 12 pair of Ribs

• Appendicular Skeleton  الهيكل العظمي الزائدي :
- Upper Limb الطرف العلوي:
 Shoulder Region (Scapula عظم الكتف  & Clavicle or Collarbone ترقوة )  
 Upper Arm (Humerus عظم العضد )
 Forearm (Radius  عظم الكعبرة & Ulna عظم الزند)
 Hand ( 8 Carpal رسغ , 5 Metacarpal مشطي  & Phalangesسلاميات  )

- Lower limb الطرف السفلي:
 Thigh (Femur       (عظم الفخذ
 Leg (Tibia عظم الساق الكبرى & Fibulaعظم الساق الخارجي )

B- Skeleton Positions "أوضاع الهيكل العظمي" :
1- Anterior أمامي : Nearer the front of the body.
2- Posterior خلفي : Nearer the back of the body.
3- Median وسط : In the Middle
4- Median Planeسطح الوسط : It’s an imaginary plane which bisects شطر the body into two equal sides.
5- Midline خط الوسط : Line which marks the meeting of the median plane with the body.
6- Medialداخلي : Nearer the middle.
7- Lateral خارجي : Farthest from the midline of the body.
8- Intermediateفي الوسط : Between medial and lateral.
9- Superior أعلى : Nearer the Head.
10- Inferiorأسفل : Nearer the Feet
11- Superficial سطحي : Nearer the surface of the body.
12- Deepعميق : Farthest from the surface of the body.
13- Proximal الأقرب : Nearer the Trunk.
14- Distalالأبعد : Farthest away from the Trunk.
15- Palmer راحة اليد : Belong to Palm of the Hand.
16- Plantar بطن القدم : Belong to Sole of the Foot.
17- Sagittal Plane السطح الموازي للوسط : Any parallel plane to the median plane.
18- Coronal Plane السطح الرأسي : Vertical plane.
19- Transverse Plane السطح الأفقي : Horizontal plane.

C- Skeleton Movements "حركات الهيكل العظمي" :
1- Flexion ثني : Movement that folds the limbs anterior.
2- Extension مد : Movement that straightens the limbs posterior.
3- Abductionإبعاد : Taking the limb away from the median plane.
4- Adductionتقريب : Brining the limb nearer the median plane.
5- Rotationتدوير : Rotating the limb around its own axis.
6- Circumduction حركة > سطح : Movement of the limb in more the one plane.
